An overview for Small Businesses
So you have a new business and you have a website, what else? One of the most important aspects to selling your products or services is this: Customers need to be able to find you.
When someone is looking for a store, place to eat, place to get their haircut, wants to buy insurance or whatever else, they turn to search engines and specialty websites that list businesses and services based on your location. You need to be listed. When it comes to 21st century marketing, placing a yellow pages ad simply is not enough and in most cases, is way out of date. The overwhelming majority of the world turns to the internet to find goods and services.
There is no end to the amount of sites you can make a profile for. Sometimes there can be a catch, a fee but in most cases it's free. To have a big ad, pictuers, or show up hire in the pecking order, these websites have fees.
